Terms of Service

1. What this service is
RxFinder NYC ("we," "us") is a tool that checks whether a specific medication is reported in stock at nearby pharmacies, using a combination of cached results and automated phone calls. We are not a pharmacy, healthcare provider, or pharmacy benefit manager. We do not dispense medication, verify prescriptions, or have any role in whether a pharmacy will fill your prescription.
2. Not medical advice
Nothing on this service is medical advice. Stock information is gathered via automated means and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date the moment you see it, since pharmacy inventory changes constantly, especially for medications subject to shortages. Always call the pharmacy directly to confirm availability before traveling, and consult a licensed healthcare provider or pharmacist for any medical decisions.
3. Controlled substances
Many medications covered by this service are DEA-scheduled controlled substances. This service does not verify that you have a valid prescription, does not communicate with prescribers or pharmacies on your behalf regarding dispensing, and must not be used to facilitate diversion, stockpiling, or any unlawful acquisition of controlled substances. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we reasonably believe is misusing it for these purposes.
4. Automated calling
Some stock checks are performed via an automated voice assistant that calls pharmacies directly. The assistant identifies itself as automated at the start of each call. We do not impersonate patients, caregivers, or prescribers.
5. Purchases and credits
Search credits are purchased in packs and do not expire. Credits are consumed per search, deducted only after we've confirmed a valid search location. Purchased credits are non-refundable once used. Unused credit packs may be refunded within 14 days of purchase; contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] to request one.
6. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to circumvent rate limits, scrape the service programmatically outside its published API behavior, or use it to harass or overload pharmacy phone lines. We may suspend access for accounts we reasonably believe are abusing the service.
7. No warranty; limitation of liability
This service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from reliance on stock information provided by this service, including wasted travel or delayed treatment.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
